Description
Ca. 400 - 100 BC
A Celtic bronze torque curved into a circular form with hammer-flattened terminals curled into delicated tubular loops. This torque is of a generous size which would fit most necks, and the green patina enveloping its surfaces further accentuate its attractive appeal.
Size: 140mm x 140mm; Weight: 75g
Provenance: Property of an Oxfordshire art professional; previously in an old Canadian collection of F. N., Ontario, formed in the 1980s.
